Attic Insulation Costs Ireland

The cost of insulating an attic in Ireland for a 3 bed semi costs €1200 aprox. For a 4 bed semi with vent card the cost is €1600.

As we are all well aware, heat rises, and as a result, up to 45% of heat lost from a home escapes through the roof. This is why it is imperative to properly insulate your roof to prevent the unnecessary escape of heat, which in turn drives our utility bills sky high.

Insulating your attic with open cell polyurethane spray foam insulation is fast becoming the insulation material of choice for all attic or loft insulation work.

Open cell spray foam expands to over 200 times its size when applied filling every gap between your rafters creating an airtight seal while allowing your timbers to "breathe".

Attic Insulation

Insulating your attic with spray foam has become the most effective method to save you money on your home heating bills. Remember a 50mm vapour gap is required by part L of the building regulation so water vapor can escape from your home.

Breathable Vent Card

As per building regulations a 50mm air gap must be left before the foam can be sprayed. Our breathable vent card removes this problem. The vent card is only needed when Open cell spray foam is used, as closed cell foam is not "Breathable".
